Nevermind the quality work at a reasonable price, their clientele is just too damn interesting for me to want to go anywhere else. (Santa Fe Garage in Independence, MO).

This is usually a sign of a good shop. When lots of folks with interesting cars use the place, they’re probably doing stuff well.

I’d have to agree, it’s one fine car. It’s been there a while now, undergoing some comprehensive restoration work, but it’s just some paint repairs and a few minor fixes away from returning to its original glory.

I originally found out about them following a multitude of recommendations from the local autocrossers, so between that and what I regularly see them working on, I figured they had to be doing something right.

I am lucky to have a friend (and his brother does the body work) with a shop. The metal fabricator next door is big into the 20's/30's cars and trucks, my friend’s main love is Datsuns etc.. so they get everything in there and they do good work without the crazy shop prices. They just got some nice tire machines so they can do pretty much everything.
